Typed Letter Signed by then Senator John F. Kennedy to Giosue Campanaro, an acquaintance of Kennedy’s to whom JFK thanks for sending a Christmas card, inviting him to the Capitol for a visit. (Certified authentic, not secretarial or Autopen.) Campanaro was an Italian immigrant who owned a shoe repair shop in Washington DC and who had been introduced to JFK by Campanaro’s cousin, Oliver R. Sciarappa. On 6″ x 8″ Senate letterhead with integral leaf intact, dated January 16, 1956, in fine condition with single fold at center. With letter of provenance from Campanaro family and original mailing envelope.
