Scarce booklet by Salman Rushdie, In Good Faith, Granta Books, NY, 1990. Signed by the author. 7¾” x 9¾”. First US edition, first printing. Stapled printed wraps. 22pp. A fine, new and unread copy in fine wraps.

In Good Faith is Rushdie’s testament following his seclusion after the death threats from the Ayatollah. One year after Rushdie first spoke out to defend of his novel The Satanic Verses, he speaks again. “If The Satanic Verses is anything,” he says, in this small booklet, “it is a migrant’s-eye view of the world. A metaphor for all humanity.”
