The oldest manuscript in our collection, in French dated June 1440, regarding the sale of cider, on parchment skin. Beautiful example of Renaissance calligraphy. Approximately 10″ x 13″ in surprisingly good condition but for wrinkling and contraction to the right side. Would frame up beautifully.
