About Ken Adam’s Goldfinger Art Print
Ken Adam’s brilliant set drawings for the Bond series are legendary, and his design for 1964’s Goldfinger was truly inspired. Replacing a low-tech circular saw in Goldfinger’s Swiss facility, the industrial laser emits an extraordinary light not to be found in Nature. It can cut though solid metal, making it an ideal choice to cleave gold panels into more usable configurations for Goldfinger’s operations. Those who have seen the film are well familiar with Goldfinger’s nefarious use of the laser on Mr. Bond as he was restrained on the saw table, the laser advancing slowly…
