A rare, early black and white RCA Records publicity photo of and signed by the legendary American singer/songwriter Grace Slick of The Great Society, Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, Starship, and decades of solo performances. Truly one of the icons of rock and roll, Grace has written “Hello / ? / Love to you / Grace Slick” in black marker.

This photo was taken by celebrity photographer Roger Ressmeyer for the cover of Grace’s third solo album, Welcome to the Wrecking Ball, in front of San Francisco’s historic Winterland Ballroom in October 1980, just before its demolition. A remarkable piece of rock history.
